Anthropic has unveiled a major upgrade to its AI-powered chatbot, Claude, by introducing web search capabilities. This new feature allows Claude to access real-time information from the web, enhancing its ability to provide accurate and up-to-date responses. Users can toggle web searches in their profile settings, enabling Claude to deliver answers with direct citations for easy fact-checking.
Currently available in preview for paid users in the U.S., the web search feature is powered by Anthropic's latest model, Claude 3.7 Sonnet.
