Deleting chats permanently on Instagram is a straightforward process. Whether you want to declutter your inbox or remove sensitive information, following these steps will help you delete conversations for good.
Step 1: Open Instagram Direct Messages
First, open the Instagram app and navigate to the direct messages by tapping on the paper plane icon at the home screen's top right corner. You will see a list of your recent conversations.
Step 2: Swipe the Chat to the Left and Click on the Three Dots
Swipe the chat you want to delete to the left. A set of options will appear on the right side of the chat. Tap on the three dots to open more options.
